Robert Abad is a seasoned aviation professional with a diverse background. After graduating from Alamo Heights High School in ’85, he embarked on a journey of service and expertise. Enlisting in the USAF as an Electrical Systems Specialist in February ’87, he honed his skills through rigorous training, including 654 hours at Chanute AFB, Ill., specializing in AC Electrical Systems. He further expanded his knowledge with training as a Sheetmetal Tech at Sheppard Tech Training Center in Bentwaters, England, in ’88.
Throughout his career, Robert’s expertise has spanned various aircraft and systems. His proficiency extends to different aircraft, including but not limited to the SA227 Metro III/23, Boeing 737, 757, 777, Airbus A320, A330, A340, as well as military aircraft such as the A10, F15, F16, C17, and more.
With extensive experience in numerous aircraft types, Robert Abad continues to be an asset in the aviation industry, combining technical mastery with a passion for excellence.
