AMT Instructor

Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, Josh graduated from Stevens High school in 2012. Shortly after graduating, he enlisted into the United States Marines Corps where he was an Avionics Technician on the V-22. During his time in the Marines, he went on two deployments where he was a part of the Special-Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force Crisis Response team (SP-MAGTAF) where he successfully assisted in Operation Oaken Lotus in 2014 and the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit for Operation Odyssey Lightning in 2016. After the Marines, he worked in various jobs where he was the subject matter expert on Hydraulics, electrical and pneumatic systems for offshore well intervention company Helix energy solutions. Josh’s love for aviation led him to À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ in 2022 where he graduated in April 2024. He participated in the Student Mentor program and Character with Distinction. Additionally, while he attended À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, he worked for ST Engineering as an APG and Avionics Mechanic for their UPS Heavy check hangar. He worked on the MD-11 and boing 737 and 757. Upon graduation he worked on the CRJ 700 and CRJ 900 for a Regional Airline where he was a Lead Mechanic and a Union representative. His 10 years in military and commercial side of aviation given him fluidity in his knowledge of the aviation industry.
