Dr Massie, or Dr RAM, is a highly motivated computer science educator with a passion for mentoring students and fostering their success. As the Program Chair, he is committed to having an open and exciting learning environment where both students and faculty thrive.

Dr. Massie holds a bachelor’s in applied management, a Master of Science in Computer Science, and a Doctor of Computer Science with a concentration in Enterprise Information Systems. He brings over 27 years of industry experience, working as a developer since 1995 and contributing to 10 US patents. This background allows him to bridge the gap between theory and practice, equipping students with the skills and knowledge for successful careers in information technology. He has programmed and worked with many different databases, programming languages, operating systems, and hardware platforms. He enjoys learning, inventing, working on cars, and programming for fun in his off time.
